We see a day of a futuristic prison, where life sentence is rather the purgatory for the inmates. The captives are treated inhumanly; permanent leg and hand shackles, as well as masks are used permanently. According to the new legislation, all lifer inmates must be given corporal punishment on a monthly basis. The same law allows the convicts' victims to be present at these punishments and take an active part if they wish to do so. Death would be deliverance for them.
